Hazyview is generally regarded as the gateway to the Kruger National Park, with the Numbi gate only 16 km’s away, and about 25 minutes drive from the Paul Kruger Gate. Hazyview is also the tourist adventure hub of the Lowveld and boasts some excellent accommodation establishments in and around the area.
This tropical paradise derives its name from its fantastic climate and the huge banana plantations that dominate the landscape. Visitors can clearly feel the temperature rise as they descend deeper into the valley from the higher escarpment. Hazyview was originally promulgated in 1959 when the first post office was established
