Nhlangano Casino Royale - Previously a Sun hotel, it is now under new management, and promises to be even better than in the past. It is situated in the south of Swaziland, roughly halfway between the Sicunusa and Lavumisa border posts. This stretch of road also happens to be one of the most scenic and enjoyable roads in Swaziland. The road is made up of long sweeps, and the occasional short sharp twisty. The road surface is absolutely fantastic, and provided you obey the road signs, and don’t speed in the villages are guaranteed to make you smile with joy. Nhlangano which means “Meeting place of the Kings” refers to a visit years ago between the King of Swaziland, and the King of England.
The hotel is made up of luxury A-frame rooms all situated within the extensive gardens surrounding the main building. There is a Casino, restaurant, bar and outdoor activities. If it is glitz and glamour your after then don’t bother. Although it has a casino, it is small but adequate. This is more a place for relaxation, and the opportunity to visit the surrounding area. Safe and secure, good food, not expensive.
The hotel is accessible from South Africa, and Mozambique on good tar roads.

Foresters Arms Hotel - The existince of this little country hotel is one of those that you actually want to keep to yourself. Situated in beautifull forests close to the little village of Mhlambanyatsi this place is absolutely magic. The athmosphere is superb, and in winter you just feel like crwaling up in front of the fireplace, and never go home. It once belonged to a farmer from the area who eventually ran away with the hotel bar lady. The lady in question must have been an extraordinary person for the man to have gone to such extremes, but then again we will never understand what happens to a man when he becomes smitten with love or lust?
From the moment you set foot at this beautifull establishment you feel welcome. The gardens are absolutely beautifull, and the hospitality has no bounds. The pub is charming and warm, whilst the décor is old-world and elegant. The food is superb, whilst all the rooms are beautifully decorated.
There is ample things to do in the area, and this is a lovely base from which to explore this part of Swaziland. It is also ideal for those who don’t want to stay in the capital of Mbabane, but still close enough to go and explore there. It is situated close to a golf course. Secure and safe, a little expensive for the average motorcyclist budget, but worth the treat.
The hotel is accessible from South Africa, and Mozambique on good tar roads.
